The Port, intermodal logistics hub

The Port of Barcelona has more than 30 specialised terminals for all types of goods, connected by sea, rail and land, with the main distribution centres in the Iberian Peninsula, Europe and the Mediterranean. In addition, it has its own internal terminals in Spain and France that allow an efficient and flexible service adapted to the needs of logistics operators and their customers. On the other hand, Barcelona airport has more than 370 air routes that depart from the Catalan capital, allowing flights to up to 212 destinations in 62 countries around the world.
Inland terminals

Next to the Port of Barcelona is one of the largest logistics areas in Europe, the Logistics Activities Zone (LAZ), which houses international and multinational logistics operators in its more than 230 hectares. The Port is also located next to a free zone with more than 1,000 ha and the Barcelona-El Prat airport, with connections to more than 200 destinations around the world. 

All this makes up a marketing and distribution network that attracts companies such as Decathlon, Inditex, Amazon, Ikea, Seat, Lidl or Mango, which already have installed their distribution centre in Barcelona.
