Study professional profiles of the Port Community of Barcelona
This study was commissioned by the Barcelona Port Authority at the Barcelona Vocational Training Foundation with the aim of adapting the dual training offer to the real professional demand of the sector, adapting the VT qualifications to the specific needs of the companies that develop their activity in the Port Community environment.
To prepare it, a survey was first sent to detect the current and future needs of professionals, especially in the field of Vocational Training (VT). Once the information was compiled, working groups were held with some of the companies of the Port Community with the aim of comparing the profiles of professionals that are currently hired and which profiles are difficult to cover, focusing attention on the field of vocational training. .
In short, this study aims to contribute to improving the employability of people and boosting the competitiveness of companies.
