The Port of Barcelona has a wide range of regular and efficient maritime services that serve the main routes, connecting it with ports worldwide and is the leader in cruise ship traffic in the Mediterranean and Europe.
Sustainable connectivity
On routes between Europe and Asia, the maritime connection from Barcelona means a reduction of between 3 and 4 days in transit as well as in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. More than 100 regular lines operated by 54 shipowners connect the port with more than 200 ports worldwide.
The Port of Barcelona also has the infrastructure and a wide range of SSS and feeders that make us the main connectivity hub between Europe and the Mediterranean, with regular services to Italy or North Africa.
