America's Cup Mobility
The 37th edition of the America's Sailing Cup is held in Barcelona from August 22 to the end of October 2024. For this reason, the Port of Barcelona has established a mobility device during the celebration of the competition.
Within the area of the Port of Barcelona, the organisers plan to set up different areas with screens to follow the races live. There also are different service and storage facilities: commercial stands, catering, stage, portaloos etc. With the exception of the AC Match and depending on the wind, the rest of the races is held on Wednesdays, Fridays and at weekends.
If you are travelling on foot, by bicycle or public transport, access to the area is guaranteed. This also goes for the people living in Barceloneta.
Access by private vehicle may be restricted at certain times and in certain areas, according to the flow of spectators.
Planning your trips to the area in advance and finding the best alternative is advisable.
To attend these spaces, it is advisable to prioritize traveling by public transport.
How to access the different areas of the competition located in the Port of Barcelona
Mobility without restrictions:
- On foot / Bicycle / PMV (Personal Mobility Vehicle)
- Motorcycles and mopeds *
* Motorbikes and mopeds can reach the competition area without any restrictions or the need for a pass, and parking areas is set up in the area, but with limitations according to demand and parking capacity..
- Public transport (bus, taxi, VTCVs, Bus Nàutic)

It is not advisable to use private vehicles to travel around the area where the various America's Cup events are taking place because there may be traffic restrictions depending on the day, time and flow of visitors.
If necessary, the Port Police can close roads to traffic according to what is needed at any given time. In these cases, control points will be set up, and only authorised vehicles and services will be able to pass.
The concessionaires of Port Vell, considered as mobilization agents, have the power to authorize, have accreditation, vehicles private to their users and workers.

- UDG (Urban Distribution of Goods):
Urban Goods distribution (UDG) in the Port Vell area can be carried out without any traffic restrictions, buth the competition days. In these days the loading and unloading schedule is from 07.00 to 11.00h and from 18:00 to 21:00h.

The America's Cup began on August 22nd and will last approximately two months.
The organizers are making reservations until October 27th for dribbles in case they have to postpone due to any weather conditions. Please note that the competition days may be subject to alterations in the wind or weather conditions.
