Information on data protection

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December 2018 on the protection of personal data and guarantees of digital rights.

Purpose of data processing.
- To manage registration information for the Blue Economy Investor Day, organized by the Barcelona Port Authority (APB) in collaboration with Tech Barcelona.
- To send information to registered individuals about news, events, and activities organized by the Department of Innovation and Business Strategy of the Port Authority of Barcelona or by partner organizations.
- To inform registered individuals, on behalf of Tech Barcelona, about topics of mutual business interest related to the purpose of the event.

Legal basis for processing (Legal grounds).
Processing of contact data of representatives of legal entities (Article 19 of the Spanish Data Protection Act – LOPDGDD). - For APB’s processing activities: task carried out in the public interest. - For Tech Barcelona’s processing activities: legitimate interest. 

Exercise of rights.You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation of processing, opposition and not to be the subject of automated individual decisions, sending a personal request to the offices of the APB, submitting a letter to the General Registry-SAU or to the Electronic Registry through the electronic Office at https://seu.portdebarcelona.gob.es. You may also request not to receive communications about commercial activities from the Port of Barcelona, by sending an email to innovació.estrategia@portdebarcelona.cat at any time.

The APB informs you that photographs and videos may be taken during the course of this activity. The purpose of these recordings is to inform, publicize, and promote this activity by sharing them through the communication channels of the Port Authority of Barcelona. These rights can also be exercised with Tech Barcelona if you receive communications from them. In any case, you have the right to file a claim with the AEPD https://www.aepd.es/es at any time.
