Campaign 2026-27

Over 20 years of the Solidarity Container: ensuring our help reaches those who need it most

After more than two decades of shared history, the Solidarity Container (Contenidor Solidari) is once again the gathering point for the entire Port Community of the Port of Barcelona in the fight against food poverty, in collaboration with the Banc dels Aliments (Food Bank).

To make our assistance as effective as possible, the campaign—active from November 2, 2026, to January 7, 2027—will take place entirely through a virtual container. This means that instead of collecting physical food items, we are facilitating direct financial donations. This format allows the Banc dels Aliments to purchase the exact basic and fresh products required at any given moment, ensuring agile, safe, and high-quality inventory management.

Getting involved is very simple: you can make your donation directly online via the official Banc dels Aliments website. Remember that every euro donated is converted into 1 kilogram of food for families in our local community.

Take part and let us show once again the strength and social commitment of our community!
