The project

The objective is the acquisition, maintenance of equipment, and the contracting of auxiliary information services for border control at the Port of Barcelona within the framework of EES and ETIAS.

This operation includes, on the one hand, the contracting of a service that ensures the maintenance and proper functioning of the equipment acquired during the three years following its installation, and on the other hand, a service for the care and assistance of third-country passengers at border control points, in collaboration with and under the guidelines of the National Police, with the following functions:

  • Assistance to travelers and direct support in the use of EES equipment at the border crossing.
  • Support in managing passenger queues to ensure orderly, smooth, regulated, and safe access through these points.
