The 23rd business mission of the Port of Barcelona and the second in online format, as a result of the health situation caused by COVID-19, served to consolidate cooperation between Korea and Barcelona, an alliance that will continue to grow in the future.
The Port Summit Trade Mission Korea 2021 became a major international business meeting to promote trade between the Asian country and Europe, with the Port of Barcelona as the main logistics hub facilitating this international trade. The event recorded figures higher than previous editions, with more than 250 registered, of which 75 were professionals from Korean companies.
Within the framework of the mission, a delegation from the Port of Busan made up of managers of the Asian port, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the country's press, who actively participated in the business conference, press conference, as well as in the inauguration ceremony of the stable logistics platform, located in the Logistics Activities Zone (LAZ) of the Port of Barcelona.
