2024 Economic and traffic Outcomes

Corporate video by the Port of Barcelona (2 min 47 s) presenting its 2024 results, with a Catalan voice-over (subtitled), sweeping aerial shots of the port and animated on-screen figures. It opens with dawn views of the container terminal, the Porta d'Europa bridge and the Port Vell, and is structured in thematic blocks headed by the slogan "Connectats a…" (Connected to…): "Connected to sustainability" (the first electrical shore-connection OPS system in the Mediterranean and 40 MWp of installed solar capacity, with panels on the roofs); "Connected to rail" (new rail services); "Connected to people" (the new BlueTechPort at the Sant Bertran sheds and new public spaces at the Port Vell); and "Connected to the future". The second part, "2024 traffic results", shows the key figures over shots of ships and terminals: total traffic 69.7 million tonnes; containers 3.9 million TEU; liquid bulk 13.7 million tonnes; solid bulk 4.8 million tonnes; Short Sea Shipping 427,849 ITUs; automobiles 682,082 units; passengers 1.7 million ferry movements and 3.7 million cruise movements; 8,383 ship calls; rail transport with 10,994 movements, 219,039 TEU and 295,059 automobiles; and a goods value of €113,343 million. It closes with the Port of Barcelona logo.
