This year, innovation will be the focus of the sixth edition of Smart Ports: Piers of the Future, the event promoted by the Port of Barcelona with some of the world's leading ports in innovation and sustainability to analyse, debate and propose transformative solutions for the future of ports and maritime transport.
Smart Ports: Piers of the Future, which will be held in this edition under the motto "Creating Ports that Inspire", will bring together experts in sustainability, innovation and port technology with the aim of contributing to the construction of the port of the future. This year special attention will be given to emerging companies in the maritime and port sector, the relationship between ports and cities, the blue economy and the initiatives in the field of innovation and sustainability that are being developed by the leading ports.
