Smart Ports
Three days to transform the future of the blue economy.
On 3 November 2026, Barcelona will host the eighth edition of Smart Ports: Ports of the Future', organised by the Port of Barcelona and held as part of the Smart City Expo World Congress and Tomorrow Blue Economy, which will take place from 3 to 5 November.
The event will bring together experts, start-ups, investors and industry professionals to promote more innovative, sustainable and connected ports. The programme will feature 50 blue economy start-ups, including companies associated with the Port of Barcelona's Lighthouse and New Latitude initiatives.

Over the three days, sessions will explore innovation, sustainability and talent, alongside events such as the Sustainable Ocean Summit and BlueFIN, organised by the World Ocean Council.
A key highlight of the programme will be Investor Day, which is designed to connect investors with some of the most promising and innovative start-ups in the blue economy.
Participating companies will include projects from the Port of Barcelona's New Latitude and Lighthouse programmes, giving investors direct access to initiatives supported by its innovation ecosystem.
