Zouhair Benjelloun promotes the logistics services of the Port of Barcelona in all North African countries.

It is an area that, in addition to being the market of the closest foreland in terms of distance (so that it is often also considered a hinterland expanded to cover traffic associated with Short Sea Shipping), constitutes a main destination for exports through the Catalan infrastructure and is one of the areas with the greatest prospects for growth in maritime traffic.

Zouhair has extensive experience in the logistics sector. He has held senior management positions in the largest logistics companies in Morocco and has been president of the Tangier branch of ASMEX (Association of Exporters).

Services

Zouhair's efforts are focused on helping the internationalisation of companies, offering efficient logistics solutions through the Port of Barcelona. He also helps to generate brand recognition and impact, as well as build loyalty and increase traffic volumes in this area of the foreland. He is, in fact, an ambassador of the Port before the public authorities of the different countries, federations, professional associations and maritime companies.

In addition, he participates in the relevant forums that allow the Port of Barcelona to act as a lobby in the area, establishing contacts that facilitate the exchange of good practices in order to approximate the ways of working of the Port in North Africa and vice versa.
