List of certified companies
In the Port of Barcelona it is mandatory to carry out inspections for all cruise ships that make a stopover and for this purpose pairs of dogs and guards are used to control and inspect the supplies to the ships, the requisition of interior spaces of the terminals and of the esplanades where operations are carried out. Since 2014, thanks to an agreement with the Port Authority, the Civil Guard has been in charge of evaluating the capabilities of these explosive detection canine teams of private security companies that work in the restricted area of the Port of Barcelona.
