In May 2024, the Port of Barcelona completed the restoration of the four historic sheds on the Moll Oriental (east quay), each of which is more than 100 years old, so that they could be used for cultural events and functions. The work was completed to coincide with the 2024 America's Cup, during which three of the restored buildings served as a meeting point (hospitality) for the Port Community, and the fourth now houses the maritime station for the Bus Nàutic.

The warehouses are managed and marketed by Gerència Urbanística Port Vell under the brand name TINGLADOS. The aim is to attract high-profile cultural events to the port, thereby reinforcing the mission to transform Port Vell into a valuable cultural venue for both the citizens of Barcelona and the country as a whole.

The warehouses on the East Dock were built at the beginning of the 20th century to meet the needs arising from the industrial development of that period, which coincided with the expansion of the Port of Barcelona. The work of civil engineer Julio Valdés y Humarán, the warehouses have uniquely decorated façades and were used as offices, warehouses and a workshop for the floating docks.
