The Archive of the Barcelona Port Authority keeps, in its documentary collection, the primary sources to reconstruct the economic and social history of the port and the city. But it also provides information on the history of goods traffic, the interaction with other ports and cities, their alliances, or the progress in the implementation of new means and techniques for the development of port activity since 1854.
