Port territory

With more than 1,000 hectares of land surface and 23 km of docks, the Port of Barcelona is a highly diversified port that houses some thirty specialised terminals.

Each port authority must define the areas of land and water necessary for the development of port uses, as established by the Port Law. The proposals for the planning and regulation of the port service area are detailed in an essential reference document for all those involved in the physical modification of the territory that surrounds us. The ultimate goal is to normalise the port landscape in the long term.
