The Department of Merchandise Operations and Quality of the Barcelona Port Authority (APB) is committed, within its strategy and general objectives, to improving the Quality of the Service provided by it.

The establishment of the Quality System and the implementation of improvements have brought about a significant change in the conception of the port business in recent years, which has been oriented towards the needs, requirements and expectations of the clients of the Port of Barcelona .

The Quality System is a combination of efforts and determination committed to better port services that adapt to a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment.

The Port and its Community, committed to quality: Efficiency Network

Continuous improvement in pursuit of quality is not exclusive to the Port of Barcelona, but also to the entire Port Community. That is the reason for the Efficiency Network, the Quality Mark that companies and administrations that work in the Port of Barcelona can adhere to.

All companies assume the commitments of the Efficiency Network when obtaining the certification,
by which they undertake to offer reliability, information, transparency and security to their clients.
