Code of ethics and professional conduct

The Code of ethics and professional conduct establishes the behaviour guidelines that the staff of the Barcelona Port Authority must follow in relations with all stakeholders: workers, customers, suppliers and external collaborators, public and private institutions and society in general

Access to the ethical channel

The trust of our stakeholders is based on the integrity and professional responsibility of each one of the people who work in the Port of Barcelona. The guidelines for action established in the document respond to the basic criteria of integrity and professional responsibility.

Criteria and application

  • Integrity, understood as acting ethically, honestly and in good faith.
  • Professional responsibility, understood as acting proactive, efficient and focused on excellence, quality and willingness to serve.

This code is mandatory for all APB staff and affiliated companies that we manage directly. But, in addition, we promote and encourage these guidelines among suppliers and collaborating companies.
