Argentina-Uruguay 2017
Due to exceptional circumstances, the 2017 mission to Argentina and Uruguay was led by the Vice President of the Governing Council of the Port Community and the 4 presidents of the industry associations (stevedore companies, shipping agents, customs agents and freight forwarders).

Delegation
Given the political situation in Catalonia, and by order of the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Foreign Relations, no institutional representative or the Port Authority of Barcelona participated in this mission. The delegation was made up of representatives of the Port Community and exporters and importers from the software, aggregates and consulting sectors.
Work agenda
Despite the change in format, the mission maintained its usual work programmeme:
- Business conferences in Buenos Aires and Montevideo: 300 attendees in total.
- Customs technical seminar in Buenos Aires: 90 participating professionals.
- Visit to the Hutchison terminal in Buenos Aires, the only one with the capacity to consolidate and deconsolidate containers.
- Meetings of associations of the port communities of Barcelona and Buenos Aires.
- Bilateral contacts, with agendas largely prepared by ACCIO.
