The Official Animal Health Inspection Service of the Agriculture and Fisheries Area of the Government Delegation in Catalonia carries out sanitary control on the importation of products of animal origin NOT intended for human consumption, animal health products, animal feed products and veterinary drugs.

Programme TRACES (Trade Control and Expert System)

Importers of Products of Animal Origin must register in the TRACES programme, which allows them to process and send the Common Veterinary Entry Document (CVED) or Common Entry Document (CED) electronically.

Taxes

For products of animal origin and for products included in Community Regulations and/or subject to safeguard clauses, enter https://sede.mapa.gob.es and fill in form model 790 code 080 and proceed to payment either telematically or in any deposit institution collaborating with the AEAT.
