Agricultural Export Inspection, Surveillance and Regulation Service (SOIVRE)

The Territorial Directorate of Commerce of Barcelona, under the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, carries out the controls of the SOIVRE (Official Service for Inspection, Surveillance and Regulation of Agricultural Exports Abroad) to guarantee compliance with the rules of commercial quality in agri-food products and safety in toys, textiles, footwear, PPE, furniture and low-voltage electrical equipment.

Also the application of the CITES agreement that regulates international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora and its derivatives.

Previous requirements

Before the arrival of the goods, the import permit must be requested, preferably electronically, registering in the Lincex application. It is also necessary to have the original foreign CITES export certificate/permit. All the requirements and forms can be found on the CITES website.
 

How to request an inspection?

An inspection request can be submitted electronically to through the ESTACICE platform, previously requesting a user password from a SOIVRE Inspection Service. It is necessary to have a digital signature or ID.
