Terminals for car traffic
The Port of Barcelona has two terminals specialised in car traffic with simultaneous storage capacity for more than 55,000 units, Autoterminal and SETRAM. They offer all the necessary security measures and have railway terminals for loading and unloading with European, Iberian and metric connection gauge and Ro-Ro ramps.

SETRAM
This terminal has four railway terminals that allow eight trains to operate simultaneously and a daily capacity of 13 trains. Every year up to 55,000 vehicles are imported by rail and 15,000 are exported.

Autoterminal
This multimodal vehicle terminal is a reference hub thanks to its connections with roads and rail, facilities and technology. The main car carriers in the world call in here, both SSS and Deep Sea.
Non-specialised car terminals
Three other Port of Barcelona terminals also carry out vehicle traffic operations.
This multipurpose terminal has a surface dedicated to rolled goods of 5,000 m², a maximum shipping capacity of 500 units, two Ro-Ro ramps and four mobile cranes of up to 135 tons. It also provides service to special and project cargo.
The Grimaldi terminal has direct access to the rail network, can store up to 1,000 vehicles and has an integrated system with automatic doors that allows for particularly agile operation.
This terminal can store up to 5,000 vehicles, has direct access to the ring road and the rail network, and has 25 <cu>buffers</cu> for unloading car transporters.
