Portic (Port Community System)

By facilitating interaction between all the companies in the Port Community, Portic seeks to improve and increase its competitiveness by improving the different processes. 

Through the Fòrum Telemàtic, Portic develops new solutions and procedures to expedite the physical or documentary processes associated with the passage of goods and the different means of transport through the Port of Barcelona.

Portic facilitates simultaneous communication between the Port of Barcelona and all the companies that work and use the port infrastructure.

To allow the connection between the different systems of the Port Community, Portic unifies the communication standards while ensuring the confidentiality of those communications, facilitating a reduction in the times and costs of the different transactions, and complete traceability that streamlines the management of operations.
