Disseminating innovation

Open innovation is based on sharing knowledge and experiences. The Port of Barcelona promotes different initiatives to disseminate its innovative activity both to its immediate environment and to society, especially through initiatives such as PierNext and Smart Ports.tv.

PierNext

PierNext is a digital knowledge hub promoted by the Port of Barcelona to disseminate the innovation that is transforming logistics and international trade, with special emphasis on the port and maritime field.

The trends and challenges in mobility, logistics, the environment, the economy, people, governance and technology are the great areas that inspire the hub when creating its content, available in three languages: Catalan, Spanish and English.

PierNext is a space for knowledge, analysis and reflection open to the collaboration of all those organisations organisations and people interested in contributing ideas, disruptive experiences and cutting-edge references in each of these fields.

You will also find studies and reports for free on trends in port and logistics innovation.

PierNext can help to tell the story of how the great digital revolution in international trade and ports took place, and  to promote this transformation towards a more sustainable logistics and be part of it.

Subscribe to the newsletter to stay up to date with the latest trends and innovative developments in the sector and not miss any of the articles that are published weekly.
