The Port of Barcelona has more than thirty terminals specialised in containerised goods, motor vehicles, RO-RO traffic, coffee and cocoa, fruit, steel products, liquid and solid bulk, and passengers, managed by world leading operators and international suppliers (Hutchison, Iberpotash, Tradebe….).

The APM Terminals and Best container terminals serve the large shipping companies with direct calls in Barcelona and operate with the highest degree of productivity of the Mediterranean ports.

Reliability, speed, transparency, electronic management. The Port of Barcelona leads innovation through projects that streamline the flow of goods:

• Efficiency Network, quality and efficiency. More than 90 companies from the Port Community are certified by the Port of Barcelona to belong to this network, which sets standards that require companies to provide their services (customs clearance, removal of goods from the port area, etc.) within the maximum agreed time frame and in accordance with high quality standards.

The Port of Barcelona has the widest service network in southern Europe and the Mediterranean. Its maritime transport services serve the main routes and connect with more than 200 ports worldwide. Land services include daily and/or weekly rail services with the main destinations in Spain (Madrid, Zaragoza, Valladolid, Tarragona, etc.) and Europe (Portugal, France, Italy, Germany and Belgium).
