Agreement with the City Council

In 2018, we signed an agreement with the City Council to find a new arrangement of port spaces in the city and achieve a phasing plan for the environmentalization of cruise traffic.

The agreement with the Barcelona City Council aims to reorganize the international maritime terminals, limiting their number to a maximum of 7 and transferring all cruise activity to the Adossat dock. This pact will reach full compliance in 2027.

On October 2, 2023, we said goodbye to the last cruise ship operating at the Barcelona Nord dock and all cruise activity was transferred to the Adossat dock.

What is included in the Port's agreement with the Barcelona City Council?
