Barcelona airport is the second in Spain and the largest in Catalonia and the Mediterranean coast and in 2019 more than 52 million passengers passed through its facilities, making it the 6th in Europe. It has two modern passenger terminals from which you can connect to more than 200 destinations and 371 air routes to more than 60 countries in the world. It is represented as BCN by the IATA code.

Collaboration with the Port of Barcelona

Barcelona-El Prat is only 17 kilometres from the Port of Barcelona and has exclusive services for cruise passengers such as different check-in counters in its terminals, joint port-airport check-in for some cruises or luggage transport between the two facilities. In addition, together with the Barcelona Air Route Development Committee (BARDC), both infrastructures collaborate to increase the number of intercontinental routes.
