The Port of Barcelona currently maintains a presence in Perpignan through a stake in a local joint venture company and through two inland goods terminals in Toulouse and Lyon. These platforms are intended to improve goods transport links and operations between Barcelona and France. The Port’s representatives at the two goods platforms provide information to French operators about Port of Barcelona services. The operators can then optimise business responsiveness and costs.

Perpignan:

The Port has a stake in the local joint venture company that manages the rail terminal at the Saint Charles market. Through this strategic position in Europe's fresh produce hub, the Port is able to provide onwards transport connections for Latin American operators.
