The Quality System aims to combine on going efforts, commitment and will in order to ensure the enhanced port services clients require in today's increasingly competitive environment.

The Quality System Department was set up in 1993, when the Quality Plan was launched, under the aegis of the Barcelona Port Authority. Its mission is to oversee the Port of Barcelona's Quality System by coordinating with logistics community agents in order to improve service as a whole. To this end, it places special emphasis on meeting clients' specific needs in order to maximise customer satisfaction.
