TMT - Toulouse goods terminal

The Port of Barcelona currently maintains a presence in Perpignan through a stake in a local joint venture company and through two inland goods terminals in Toulouse and Lyon. These platforms are intended to improve goods transport links and operations between Barcelona and France. The Port’s representatives at the two goods platforms provide information to French operators about Port of Barcelona services. The operators can then optimise business responsiveness and costs.

Toulouse-Midi-Pyrénées platform:

The tmT Port of Barcelona Logistics Activities Area is a Port of Barcelona services platform in the south of France. tmT is located in the Eurocentre, a multimodal logistics area roughly 20 km north of Toulouse. The 20 ha tmT has motorway links (direct access from A62 to Bordeaux, A20 to Paris, A61-E80 to Barcelona and A64-E80 to Bilbao), rail links (Paris-Bordeaux block trains, Naviland Cargo container rail terminal) and air connections (Toulouse Blagnac international freight and passenger airport is 20 minutes away).

With 82,000 m2 of warehouse space (4,500 and 6,000 m2 modules), 4,200 m2 of office space and 30,000 m2 dedicated to services for containerised goods, tmT provides a modern, environmentally-friendly infrastructure (solar roof panels) for logistics operators engaged in international maritime transport.

The 20,000 m2 facility built in the initial development phase is now occupied by Pierre Fabre Dermocosmética, Sernam, Egetra and Nippon Express. There are also plans to create a new rail link between Barcelona and Toulouse.
