General info
The current port has 902 ha of sheltered waters, plus 4,541 ha of open waters.
The Port has two entrance mouths: the South Entrance mouth is 530 m wide, 18.5 m deep and oriented at 166º and the North Entrance mouth, which opened in 2003 and is 144 m wide, 11.5 m deep and oriented at 195º.
