Road
A 13 km-long ring road connects the different wharves and warehousing areas right around the perimeter of the Port of Barcelona. |
Railway
As regards inland railway communications, from the Ponent wharf towards the South, RENFE provides service for a wide variety of traffic: containers, non-containerised general cargo, solid and liquid bulks. Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat provides a service from the Contradic wharf for the potash loaded in Barcelona. The Sud wharf has a rail terminal for containers. The car terminals have their own rail terminal.
The Princep d'Espanya wharf has a public multi-purpose rail terminal mainly dedicated to cars, steel products and containers. |
